PHILIP KIM PHILIP KIM, CFA
Associate Director, Casey, Quirk & Associates

Philip works on developing business and marketing strategies for both traditional and alternative investment management firms and assisting with due diligence and financial modeling for M&A activity. His responsibilities include project management and ongoing market research. His research is focused on understanding market trends, and he is also involved in evaluating investment processes.

Philip is currently the main author for Casey Quirk's Institutional Product Review—which focuses on trends in the traditional U.S. institutional market. He was also one of the contributors of The Brave New World: Winning Product Strategies for a Changing Global Market, published in September 2007, and the 2008 Consultant Search Forecast. He is also involved in the publication of the Business Benchmarking Survey, which is published in conjunction with McLagan Partners, and includes analysis of compensation for the industry.

Philip joined Casey Quirk in 2005. Prior to joining Casey Quirk, he was a business analyst in the Fixed Income Derivatives department at Goldman Sachs, where he supported the day-to-day functions of the sales and trading desk. He also assisted in the development and implementation of various new derivatives products.

Philip graduated with a B.S. in Computer Science from the Columbia University School of Engineering and Applied Sciences and earned an M.B.A in Finance and Accounting from the Stern School of Business at New York University.
