JEB B. DOGGETT, CFA JEB B. DOGGETT, CFA
Partner, Casey, Quirk & Associates

Jeb is a founding partner of Casey, Quirk & Associates. He has over 18 years of experience in the investment management industry. Jeb has broad experience advising senior management of traditional and alternative asset management firms, as well as mutual fund board trustees. His business strategy experience includes leading projects ranging from business vision development and distribution strategy, to investment process assessment and product development. Jeb also has experience advising on:

  • Institutional distribution strategy and organizational development
  • Investment product quality and product development (equity, fixed income, and hedge funds)
  • Quantitative investment strategies
  • Insurance company third party business strategy development
  • M&A strategy, due diligence, and post-merger integration
  • Asset management business profitability and financial benchmarking
  • Investment management start-ups and management buyouts

Jeb is a frequent industry speaker and has been quoted in industry publications such as Barron’s, Pensions & Investments, FundFire, and Ignites. Jeb co-leads Casey Quirk’s annual financial performance study, Performance Intelligence, and he has also co-authored several industry research papers, including:

Prior to 2002, Jeb was a Managing Director of the Barra Strategic Consulting Group, where he was responsible for advising asset management firms on investment process quality and business strategy. Jeb gained significant experience working with fundamental, equity, quantitative equity, and fixed income firms, leading business plan development, and investment process assessment assignments. Before joining in 1995, Jeb had experience as a buy side Equity Research Analyst, covering metal companies, at State Street Research & Management Company in Boston, Massachusetts. He also spent five years as an insurance Equity Analyst at Alex Brown & Sons, Inc. in Baltimore, Maryland.

Jeb graduated with a B.A. in Computer and English from Trinity College. He holds an M.B.A. in Finance from Cornell University and is a Chartered Financial Analyst.
